As with all agricultural products, flowers are perishable and should be handled with care. While certain varieties of flowers prefer different post harvest care, in general these are a few ways to keep your flowers as fresh as possible.

• Keep cut flowers out of the heat and direct sunlight.

• Change the water daily and nip off a bit of the stem ends too.

• Make sure their is no foliage in the water.

• Use some flower food. It gives the flowers a little food and disinfectant.

• Keep flowers away from strong smells like oil diffusers, candles etc.
